According to Official Dispatch No. 4370/BTC-DNTN dated April 5, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Finance, businesses are not required to update their business registration addresses if the only change is due to administrative boundary adjustments (e.g., mergers, splits, or reorganization of administrative units).
After the reorganization, Ho Chi Minh City now has a total of 168 commune-level administrative units, including 113 wards, 54 communes, and 1 special administrative unit. Among them, 112 wards, 50 communes, and 1 special unit have been reorganized, while 5 commune-level units remain unchanged: Thoi Hoa Ward, and Long Son, Hoa Hiep, Binh Chau, and Thanh An Communes.
